Join our flying witch for a delightful day of flight and fright as the Hiller Aviation Museum hosts the Halloween Haunted Hangar. Each day the witch arrives by helicopter and drops a pumpkin to get things off to a smashing start, and then the festivities continue inside! Explore the Museum’s Gallery if you dare to hunt for hidden haunts. Build a creepy craft, join the games at our Aerial Carnival, or take off on a moonlight mission in the Flight Sim Zone in a festive celebration of Halloween Flight. Candy, prizes and spooky surprises make our Helicopter Haunt and extra-special occasion. Come in costume and add to the fun!
Event included with Museum admission. 4 under admitted free of charge.
San Carlos Sky Kitchen

If you are ever in the neighborhood and miss seeing the airplanes… stop by and have a bite at the “Sky Kitchen” and watch the airplanes. San Carlos airport is a small private airport and the people there are very friendly. The airport is just down the road (so-to-speak) from San Francisco International Airport and north of San Jose Mineta Airport. Good food and good prices too!

What started out as a pre-party to welcome our helicopter pilots before the big “Vertical Challenge” Air Show has now become an event all to itself. The “Wild Brew Yonder” allows visitors to experience the excitement of “Vertical Challenge” but in a much more intimate setting. Sample beer from the top microbreweries in the Bay Area while enjoying a BBQ dinner and watching the best helicopter performers in the world. This is a unique experience that you can’t find anywhere else! A very fun event!
