Belmont’s 14th Annual Breakfast with Santa

November 21, 2009

The City of Belmont Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you to participate in the 14th annual Breakfast with Santa event to be held on Saturday, December 5th at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center, 20 Twin Pines Lane in Twin Pines Park.  All ages are welcome and pre-registration is required by November 30th, as the event does fill up.  The event will begin at 10am; doors open at 9:45am to allow kids more time to eat before the show. Belmont Lions’ will be behind the scenes, cooking our fantastic pancakes with batter provided by Belmont’s IHOP.

Children under 10 will get their picture taken with Santa, and receive a gift from him.  Entertainer Leo Luna will captivate the kids with his comedy magic show. Kids and adults alike will enjoy participating in his antics. The HeartBeat dancers will put on a short program as well.

The week before and during the event we’ll also be collecting gently used coats and jackets for men, women and children to be donated to local agencies for people in need. We also request you bring canned food for Second Harvest to distribute locally. This is our 6th year to run the “One Warm Coat” drive and canned food for the Second Harvest food collection.
For more information on these events, check out our website, ‘www.belmont.gov’, Parks and Recreation, ‘Register now’ or call the Belmont Parks & Recreation Department at 650-595-7441.
