When my Father died, way back when… all I did was throw out all his medications down the drain. I cringe whenever I think of that now. When my Step-Father died, I did the same thing.

Today we now know how harmful that is. Can you imagine what our kids will be exposed to. Please check out this link for disposing medications. Let’s stay Green!

Today San Carlos e-shred Event…

The City of San Carlos is teaming up with the South Bayside Waste Management Authority (SBWMA), eRecycling and Shred-It to hold a Free Community-Wide eWaste Drop-Off and Shred Documents Event.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the CalTrain Parking Lot at the corner of Holly Street and El Camino Real in San Carlos.  At this event, you will be able to drop off your eWaste and have Shred-It shred up to 3 boxes of documents that you no longer need.

New Restaurant…Martin’s West Pub Redwood City

Great food! Great ambience! They source all ingrendience locally and build almost the entire pad with recycled materials. A must see!

This new restaurant in Redwood City is definitely worth checking out. And, it is totally GREEN. This is in one of the old Historical Buildings in Redwood City.
