New USB in Our Wall-Sockets

June 5, 2010

Just had to share this with you.

The U-Socket Charges USB Devices Without an Adapter

Nowadays, many of our mobile devices are USB-based, but those darn wall socket adapters are so easy to lose (or not have enough of). Thankfully, this fall, you can plug those USB devices straight into the wall with the $20 U-Socket.

November 21, 2009

PA100409This is a great place in San Carlos, a new store that opened. I especially love the murals on the walls and the friendlyness of the staff. The Reading Bug is open every day from 11 AM. with a special craft time at 4 PM on Friday and Saturday. The Bug does a special service and delivers to local hospitals when a new baby is born.

Woodside Store Historical Home

May 22, 2009

I found out about this historical store when my daughter was in Grade School and went on a field trip here. Very fun.  Dr. Tripp and Mathias Parkhurst built the Woodside Store in 1854. Customers included loggers chopping down the redwoods. Dr. Tripp sold everything ffrom work books and ax handles to flour and ham. Later the farmers came and used it as a county store and post office until 1909.

It is a great place for a field trip. It is free. 650-851-7615 for more information.Woodside Store
