OK, So Who Am I?

I have lived in San Carlos and Redwood City for a VERY long time, and “no” not at the same time. Do we really need to know HOW LONG?

I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I always knew that I had a calling to go out West…. I landed in California, (thanks to TWA), and was a convert from “day-1″…. (1975). I was on a lay-over in San Mateo where flowers were blooming in February, and went home to shovel my car out from the snow. Go figure, this was NOT a hard decision to make.

With this site, I wanted to create a “community” site for the Mid-Peninsula cities of Redwood City, Belmont and San Carlos or the “RBC” area. A place to call home for anyone and everyone to feel free to ask questions about any community event, what restaurant they liked, or just wanting a referral for a good painter. Please feel free to tell me, so I can post it for all.

In my last life, I flew for TWA… it was a fantastic experience for me and I think that it might have been for ”some” of my family members. I think the best part of flying for me was looking out the window and always saying, “OMG”. One of the reasons, I joined the airlines was a need that I had to get re-connected to my ROOTS. I did and ‘what can I say’ , I am POLISH after all.

Later, I started a new career move and became a Realtor for Coldwell Banker in San Carlos. One of my life’s passions is being able to help people move into their first home, or downsize into something smaller. I have been called “Martha Stewart” by many, for my customer service skills and paying attention to detail. Real Estate gives me the permission to take care of people, work hard and also do creative stuff… It doesn’t get much better than this.

I have a lovely daughter, who at this time is at the University of Redlands and starting her Senior year there. My Mother, is still in Grand Rapids, Michigan in our Polish community, but enjoys living in our great city in the winter.

I do love real estate…my daughter, and taking care of my Mom along with all my clients. That is why working by referal is so great, I get to meet and help some really great folks.
