Timothy Green Home Does Exist
July 29, 2012
The summer family film “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” tells the story of Jim and Cindy Green, a couple who receive a surprise one stormy night when a mysterious boy named Timothy shows up on their doorstep.
The Newnan, GA home that hosted the cast — including Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton and CJ Adams — and provided a backdrop for many of the scenes in the upcoming movie is currently listed for sale for $1.39 million.

In pristine condition and overflowing with quirky details, the restored Victorian at 155 Greenville St. Newnan, GA 30263, just like Timothy, is peculiar yet enchanting. The 4.88-acre property includes a 5,500-square-foot main house, a 3-bedroom guest house, a pool, pond, gazebo and 3-car garage.
Built in 1842, the historic home features wood accents, stained glass windows and loads of gingerbread trim. Despite its antique charms, the home is up to date with a new slate roof and appliances. Currently used as a bed-and-breakfast, the home can be used as a single-family home as well.
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green” opens Aug. 15.
