Billionaire Home
February 20, 2011
The world’s most expensive home is complete. The $1 billion (£630 million), 27 storey tower block in Mumbai is the home of Mukesh Ambani — the richest man in India, fourth richest man in the world –, his wife and their 3 children. It is difficult to know what to call it. It is far too big and grand to call it a house, the fact that it has more floor space than the palace of Versailles and 600 staff would ordinarily make it a castle, or Mansion, but can you call a sky scraper a mansion. Well, I hope they have lots of elevators at least.

World’s Most Expensive Super Bowl Buffet
February 7, 2011
Hi all of us “Super Bowl Fans”, something for us to dream about…..

As if Texas’ most expensive Super Bowl menu weren’t enough, 2011′s Super Bowl XLV will also see the most expensive Super Bowl buffet in the world.
Manhattan’s Old Homestead Steakhouse is offering to take over one lucky person’s kitchen on Super Bowl Sunday, when the Green Bay Packers will play the Pittsburgh Steelers. The steakhouse’s executive chef, Oscar Martinez, will prepare a variety of finger foods, including Kobe beef burgers and hot dogs, French fries with Kobe beef, Maine lobster and Miami stone crabs.
The main course will be a sirloin steak covered in black truffle shavings on toasted baguettes and chicken wings covered in horseradish and topped with Beluga caviar.
That will be followed by tortillas covered in smoked salmon and crème fraîche, as well as filet mignon kebabs and a fine Champagne.
If that inspires you to reach for your wallet, keep in mind that the price for this breathtaking buffet is an equally staggering $25,000.

Shore Dogs Park Redwood Shores
February 3, 2011
This is a great park… especially since you don’t have to have a leash to have your dog there. Shore Dogs Park is a completely fenced “off leash” dog park with a double-gated entrance to an area for large dogs and another area for small dogs. Benches, drinking water for dogs and doggie waste bags and dispensers are available. Shore Dogs is open for use from dawn until dark. During the rainy season, however, be advised that the park is subject to closure without prior notice at the discretion of the Park and Recreation Department and the Shore Dogs Board.
For information on closure due to rain call 650-654-6538.
Shore Dogs is located near the end of Radio Road in Redwood Shores, California, near a corner of San Francisco Bay, where during the spring and fall migration season, you can watch the shore birds.
