I lOVE this place. Great wines, great service, and a really comfortable, clean environment. The
aviation theme is apparent in the menu and decor (wing shaped bar,
aerial photos etc). Perfect for a relaxing evening after work. AND, I think they are probably the one of the few places that are open until 1am.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled and unique overnight event increasing cancer awareness while raising much-needed funds for the American Cancer Society‘s local patient services and programs, advocacy, community education and cancer research.
Teams composed of as many as 15 people from local companies, clubs, neighborhoods and families raise funds prior to the event. At the Relay, team members take turns walking around a track, relay-style. Participants campout, enjoy music, entertainment and food while building team spirit to help in the fight against cancer. The
Relay For Life of San Carlos & Belmont takes place at Carlmont High School on June 26th, 2010. To participate or find more information, call your local American Cancer Society at 650-578-9902, or visit http://www.RelayForLife..
It is also great to be with other cancer survivors like myself and today was just beautiful to be able to enjoy a walk or run in the great weather we had, with great people. Thanks everyone!

First celebrated in 1999. “Take Your Dog To Work Day” was created to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to encourage their adoption from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs. This annual event asks pet lovers to celebrate the humane-canine bond and promote pet adoption by encouraging their employers to support TYDTW Day by opening their workplace to employees’ four-legged friends on this one special day.
Check out www.takeyourdogtoworkday.com to learn more about this national holiday and how to promote pet adoption.
A word of advice – you do the driving!

Did you know that Father’s Day is a celebration that began in the early twentieth century, specifically to compliment Mother’s Day? It actually took a long time to make this day official.
While Mother’s Day was met with enthusiasm, Father’s Day was merely a joke to most. However, over time, people began to accept it with as much regard as they do for Mother’s Day. It is celebrated all over the world.
