Train Ride 10-2 Memorial Day
May 31, 2010
This San Caros neighbor has train rides for the kiddies and families in the neighborhood. The train just goes around his home. The kids just love it. I was glad to be able to actually see this in action today.
The gentleman does this throughout the year on different occasions. His garage actually looks like a train depot with San Carlos written on it. Very cool!
Memorial Day Music at the Alpine Inn, Historical Beer Garden
May 31, 2010
I went over to hear the music from a few bands at the Alpine Inn to welcome in the beginning of summer, or so we think!!! One of my friends, Bill Collins was joining the band with his harmonica. He is really good and enjoys playing with them. With the beautiful weather we are having this is a great weekend to go over there and enjoy the weather, friends and a beer or hamburger! Tell Geri and Molly “Hi” from me.
Happy Memorial Day!

Fun at Hometown Days!
May 22, 2010
Wow, this was the first time I saw the “hamster ball”… the kids had such a great time. They kept the ball rolling throughout the day. I was selling tickets for all the games and was able to watch the ball. How come these kids don’t get sick, going round and round, I will never know. Back tomorrow for more fun in San Carlos.
Hometown Days in San Carlos
May 21, 2010
Today was the first day of the Hometown Days, or should I say evening. A bit brisk, but out opening act was this group. Very cute, but even more so, was watching all the parent’s taking pictures of their cherubs… Remember those days well! Saturday and Sunday will be fun days. Pancakes start the day tomorrow. Enjoy! See you there. I will be walking around selling tickets from 2-4. Hope to see you there. Juicy hamburgers and hot-dogs served this year by the Kiwanis.
May 16, 2010
I just had a wonderful open house looking at this beautiful tree with camilla’s all over. It was awesome to see the sun come in and out of the tree. This alone would be a selling point for me. The house is on Lexington in the Highlands in San Mateo.
