Gee, Subway Robbery??? Anyone Saw Anything?

Hard to believe that last night, Belmont PD officers were called to Subway Sandwiches at 1602 El Camino Real on the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Though this investigation is ongoing, the following is known at this time:
Two men, both about 5’7″ tall with medium builds, wearing dark blue or black hooded sweatshirts, dark masks and dark colored pants robbed the sandwich shop, taking money from the cash register. A female customer inside the shop was also robbed of her purse. One of the men was armed with a silver revolver, and both fled the area on foot.
Officers scoured the area and passed along critical suspect information to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
