Cloudy Day… This At This Time Of Year?
September 13, 2009
Picture from my open house on Longfellow in Belmont today.
WOW, what a great view I had. And, it was the first cloudy and strange day that we have had. Even with the cloudy cover, it was great to see the city of Belmont and the San Francisco in the background…
Awesome.
Kiwanis Club of San Carlos
September 12, 2009
Kiwanis Club of San Carlos is taking care of all our children in our area. The Kiwanis Club was downtown Laurel Street today, giving away kits to Parent’s for their children. The “ChildPrint ID Kit” includes a fingerprinting kit. Kit is free. Our local San Carlos Police were there supervising the event. Please support our Kiwanis Club and the events and community service that they provide. A great bunch of people!

Swim for America, Cancer Support
September 11, 2009
Dear Family and Friends,

First and foremost I would like to THANK EVERYONE who has sponsored my friend in to participate with Swim Across America and jump into the San Francisco Bay as part of 1.5 mile swim on Sat Oct 3rd, to raise money for cancer research and treatment. – all proceeds go to UCSF Children’s Hospital.
I know many times when we receive an email from a friend looking for support – we say to ourselves sure I’m happy to contribute, I’ll get back to it – only to forget or find it’s buried in emails – so I thought I’d make it easy on you and resend this so it’s at your to finger tips.
To participate in the swim this year, I have committed to RAISING $8,000 and so far have raised $1,215 – Yes the economy has been testing us this year – (Believe me, I know this has my toughest year in my years of real estate and I’m feeling what it’s like to give up many things I love - but that won’t stop my friend -and I know with everyone’s contribution no matter how small, this can be done).
I’m hoping that you will help my friend with my fundraising endeavor. Anything you can donate EVEN… $1, $5, $10, $50,$100 or more would be greatly appreciated… There are a number of ways to donate:
1.) It’s easy to donate on line with a major credit card by clicking here Click here to visit my Web page. Feel free to leave a message they inspire me. Check out the web page and see who donated………
or
2.) You can send a check, payable to Swim Across America, to me at 1150 Union St Apt 1004, San Francisco, CA 94109
Thank you in advance for all your support and help. Whatever you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
PS: Ps: For anyone LOCAL if you’re unable to donate we are always in need of VOLUNTEERS – day of the race body markers, registration, give swimmers towels, etc…. AND you’ll get to meet OLYMPIC swimmers – go to www.swimacrossamerica.org/get_involved
Love, laughter and good health,
Nancy
